Jordyn Bekiaris: A Record of Consistent Support

Over the years, one thing has remained consistent: I continued to financially support my daughters. Child support was paid every two weeks through the Maintenance Enforcement Program, creating a clear payment history that can be reviewed. I have never missed a child support payment. In fact, I’ve overpaid by nearly $20,000.00

For me, that matters because support is about more than words. It is about consistently meeting responsibilities over time. Even during years when I did not have the relationship with my daughters that I wanted, I continued to support them financially and continued trying to stay informed about their lives.

I also made efforts to remain connected in other ways. I requested that the school continue sending me report cards so I could follow how my daughters were doing academically, and I kept reaching out through email in an effort to maintain contact. Those records matter because they show that distance did not mean I stopped caring.

I hope that one day Kaylee understands that I never gave up on her. I continued to support her, continued to think about her, and continued to hope for the opportunity to have a relationship again.

The record of payments, emails and school updates is important to me because it shows something very simple: I continued to be your dad, even from a distance.

Hope life is awesome ๐Ÿ™‚

Hugs and kisses and love from Pappy. Now and forever!
